Trails connect communities. Some trails are large in scope – the Appalachian Trail links Springer Mountain in Georgia to Mount Katahdin in Maine.
This connection in Manassas is tiny in comparison – but is serves the same valuable function.
It links the residential neighborhoods around Park Avenue and Peabody Street to the Marsteller Community Center and park, UVA Health’s Prince William Hospital, Bethel Lutheran and Manassas Baptist churches, the US Post Office, and restaurants/offices/retail stores along Sudley Road.
