Prince William Department of Parks and Recreation has installed a Whenever Watersports self-service kayak rental unit at Silver Lake Regional Park.

As noted in a Facebook post from the Prince William County Department of Parks and Recreation:
Both single and tandem kayaks are available for rent at Silver Lake. Rentals start at $19.99. Paddles and personal flotation device(s) are included with all rentals. PFDs are recommended at all times for both children and adults when out on the water for everyone’s safety. A federal law requires children under 13 years old to wear an appropriate U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket.
The Prince William Parks Foundation is now raising funds to install a similar kiosk at the Sinclair Mill boat ramp on Lake Jackson, when that unit of Doves Landing Regional Park is opened.
