
This project consists of the installation of a new prefabricated steel pedestrian bridge and associated site improvements over Hooes Run, along with site cleanup and fencing improvements along the Occoquan Greenway Trail. It includes Installation of a 135-foot by 10-foot prefabricated steel pedestrian truss bridge supported by concrete abutment foundations.

Contract also includes installation of a short segment of three-rail wooden split-rail fencing adjacent to the private property of a cooperative landowner, on a recently-realigned stretch of the trail east of the bridge.
A similar bridge is already in use on the Broad Run Greenway.
