Quarterly Meeting - Greater Prince William Trails Coalition
Hybrid meeting from 10:00-11:00am on Thursday, June 16. Register for Zoom, or join us at George Mason University’s Potomac Science Center. Much is happening regaining trails planning in Prince William County in particular, as Mobility Chapter of 2040 Comprehensive Plan is evolving.
The Superintendent's Advisory Council on Sustainability is leading the charge in advocating for improved walking and biking access to schools.
Join us as we "Walk the Trails" in Greater PWC on Second Sundays
Join with the different organizations of GPWC as we investigate trail areas in the Greater PWC.
February 13, we will explore Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
March 13, we hike at Doves Landing County Park.
April 10, we hike at Merrimac Farm Wildlife Management Area during Bluebell Festival.
June 12, we hike Bull Run Mountain Preserve with the Virginia Outdoor Foundation
NEXT UP:
On June 12, 1:00-3:00pm, we will explore Bull Run Mountains Natural Area Preserve. A new trails network will connect to the quarries opened by African-Americans after the Civil War. Sponsor is the Virginia Outdoors Foundation.
This hike is open to the general public.

Walking Challenges in Greater PWC
Challenge yourself to 5- or 10-kilometer trails around some of the most beautiful and culturally significant areas of Greater Prince William County area with the Wood 'n Dale Wanderers Walking (Volksmarching Club). These are single-day social walking challenges. These events are sanctioned by the American Volkssports Association: America's Walking Club.
