The Greater Prince William Trails Coalition is a collaboration of public and private organizations, agencies, and citizen volunteers working to advance the completion of an interconnected, interjurisdictional network of multi-use trails..  

Starting in 2018, we began developing relationships among various organizations and government agencies to identify how we can partner together and jointly support our shared vision of a "scenic, sustainable, and connected multi-modal trail system for Greater Prince William County that enhances quality of life by providing equitable access to transportation, recreation, cultural, educational, and economic opportunities for all."    

We support a comprehensive network of trails for recreation and for mobility within Manassas, Manassas Park, and Prince William County, including the four incorporated towns of Dumfries, Haymarket, Occoquan, and Quantico. We seek to preserve and enhance trails and blueways, coordinate trail development efforts, prioritize key county-wide trail projects, and enhance public life by connecting communities.

As a collaborative group, we have no dues and no membership fees We invite interested non-government organizations and businesses to join by downloading the commitment letter below as "Partners." We encourage individuals interested in trails in our area to participate as a member of one of those organizations.

We invite government agencies to join as "Advisors." Their participation is essential, but government employees will not be able to participate directly in our advocacy for defining and implementing the trails network.
